Not to mention giving up 28 hits in 2 games. While 13 hits given up tonight may not be to a "regular starters", it's pretty pathetic especially in the Valley tourney where it's your only hope making regionals.

Yep WSU had 0 hits. I turned off the game but when I was listening WSU only had a runner on by getting hit by a pitch (got erased anyway by a double play).

No doubt about it. Especially against a rarely used freshman. Really embarrassing.

It's amazing how this team turns it on when it counts and when it doesn't count, they turn it off just as quickly.

But just to get the warm and fuzzy out of this one, we neither gained nothing nor lost anything since about 11:00 last night.

Looking back at the box score, Creighton was only a hit by pitch batter away from a perfect game!

We'll have to see how this team responds tomorrow. Hopefully, they come out ready to fight & not fold up the tents.

Whether this game was meaningless or not, being no-hit by a rarely used pitcher is flat out embarassing. Don't give me that crap that this team turns it on or off when it wants to. If that was the case, then why did we go 1-12 against the top RPI 100? Yeah, way to turn it on when it counts.

This offense has been pathetic all year and getting as many quality at-bats should be the focus of every hitter. Especially considering how many guys we have in our line-up not even over .300. I'd rather get boat-raced by OU and KU than get no-hit and look like JV players against a seldom used pitcher.

We've lost 24 games for a reason folks. Wake up.

P.S. I do hope we go to the NCAA tourney however.

I don't know what that would feel like but I have an idea that it's above my pay grade.


Our team has played about 2 innings this week....this evening was disgusting to say the least. The lack of fight this team brings far too often makes me want to punch something.

I think once the decision was decided not to throw one of the mainline starters the rest of the team decided to take the day off also. From what I saw it didn't even look like they cared much.

Kennedy was lamenting why the crowd wasn't packing it in - tonight is the reason. It was a waste of time and money.

Gene better get a talent infusion quick, because next year is not likely to be much better.
