I would think that any other team in CU's spot would fold like a lawn chair now but I have a feeling that CU won't go so easily.

Jones saved an out vs Gene's coaching. Gene had him going and that would have been suicide, plane and simple.

Jones lead off walk, BBCue sac bunt and engrav a solid single to right.

Jones almost scored on a suicide squeeze. Sossyman had it land in fair territory as the ball was coming right at his face.

Sossamon goes 2-1, watches a few 3rd to 1st looks and then goes 3-1.

Then golfs one to deep right center. Jones tags and scores.

Ugh, 2 out double for CU by their very cold center fielder. I guess that is when you want a guy to get what is "due" to him when he is cold.
