apparently, casey blake(FORMER SHOCKER) is kind of immersed in a bit of a controversy with a giants' pitcher named brian wilson over a gesture blake made alledgedly mocking wilsons' post game save gesture, when blake homered off him. the SI tidbit went out of its' way to say that blake(FORMER SHOCKER) has a reputation as a nice guy , but that this brings more fuel to their rivalry.

i know it's not all THAT newsworthy, but it involves casey blake, GREAT FORMER SHOCKER....and a proud major leaguer.
