The game will be televised on Kansas Now (Cox Cable channel 22).

Interestingly, it is 93F with south wind gusting to 22mph right now. Let's hope L. Dale Mitchell Park doesn't become an airport tonight.

It would be good to see Maldonado rise to the occasion and pitch as well as Flynn last night. The one thing I am starting to feel comfortable with is the young pitching staff.

I'm not listening to Mike, so I can't comment on the "boat race" comment, but he consistently uses the term "untracked" when what he should be saying is "on track". At least that is my understanding; untracked = bad, on track = good. Am I wrong in my understanding?

I've watched o'brien closely the last 4 of 5 games he has been yanking hard on pitches when he swings. All of his weight is sitting on his back foot and he dips the shoulder from both sides of the plate. weak pop ups or weak ground balls on outside pitches. Do they break down film of thier at bats?

I'm sure i'll get crap for this but thats what im seeing and why its been allowed to go on for 5 straight games if not more is beyond me.

I love pitchers who come in and throw ball after ball. Is it that hard to throw strikes? Make OU earn the runs, just don't give it to em.
