  • Shox vs Cowboys - here we go

Folks, it's going to get worse before it gets better. You thought the 15-0 drubbing we got from OU was bad, tonight is going to be worse. OSU has plenty of motivation to come out and put an arse whoopin on us. Revenge for starters, if Oliver pitches tonight, he'll want to show what we missed last year in the regional and OSU is pissed that they are struggling right now as well.

I'm predicting a 19-2 loss. We score two because OSU throws out their left fielder to play every position including pitcher and we finally get to them.

I think we win this one! I really do. I think the kids may just toss out the pressing and thinking that's been plaguing them to this point. I think the kids are just going to go out and have some fun for a change and we will see the difference on the field. I predict a win! Now tomorrow night... I'm praying for bad weather. You know like all that bad weather that kept Sunny and his crappy teams home in Norman the last two years instead of making the trip to Wichita to get their ass handed to them here. Thankfully for Sunny Gene isn't a ***** like he is and so no doubt we will show up and play no matter the potential to get drilled in embarrassing fashion.

What are the odds of McSalami hitting another dramatic dinger to send the Pokes packing yet again?

I hope the kids can just try to have fun for a change. I think the pressure and stress may be holding them back. I don't want to see them guessing at pitches at the plate unless they are ahead in the count 3-0 or 2-0 and can sit fastball for 2-3 pitches. I want to see the kids react to what they get at the plate and just square it up. I hate watching them take 3rd strikes down the middle because they were not ready for what they were HOPING they would get. Its hard to improve and get better when your not having fun out there. The kids need to relax and just go out there and try to enjoy themselves. Maybe they would find its not as hard as they are making it and gain a little confidence.

Yeah, I agree. Maybe we will have enough fan support at the park tonight that they will become more comfortable.
