This is Hill's 6th season at KSU and if you believe the bio here they have improved each season since his arrival. Went to the B12 championship game last year but lost to Texas. Zero NCAA's.

Not sure he's the guy, but he's taken a perennial dormat and made them competitive.

I'd favor someone with WSU baseball roots, but there are worse options out there than Hill.

I hate to throw dirt on Gene, as I don't see him going anywhere soon, and I for one hope he stays for a long time, but at their current pace Eric Wedge might be looking for work soon.

Wow, did I take a wrong turn down at the mental ward?

Talking about replacing Gene (where's he going, exactly?) with the coach from the Wild Kittens who, at least at this point, has not yet proven himself to be any more than a flavor of the month.

I guess I need to get back on my meds, 'cause right now all this talk sounds a little silly... well, not a little, A LOT.

Hopefully, Pavano will continue his trend and litter Kauffman Stadium tonight with earned runs!

Unfortunately for you guys I dropped Pavano from my fantasy team yesterday so he'll probably turn in a gem.

I'm hoping Pavano gets shelled. I need an offensive explosiong from the Royals.

I dare say it's tougher to start a program from scratch and play in the national championship finals in three seasons than to take over a Big12 program and go to zero NCAA Regionals in 6 seasons.

Hey, it's KSU's best team ever and they are #21 in the nation. Would you trade that for WSU's best ever?

I have a ways to go before I'm as succinct as you, ISASO.

What, is no one watching Tyler G get a lead off home run?

Baseball stat: 100% of leadoff home runs come around to score.

I really don't like the fake dirt infield.I wonder what the players think of it?
