This is apparently a new MVC rule. When an assistant coach is ejected the assistant is suspended for the next game and head coach for the game following that. I assume this only applies to MVC Conference games.

MK said as far as he knows the MVC is the only place such a rule now exists.

Evidently the MVC picks and chooses it rules that they apply against WSU. MK was saying it was against the MVC rules for any umpire be used from the same town of the home team (Mark Wagers is from Wichita).

Shox need the practice in tomorrow elements. That is the type of weather WSU will likely be facing in Waterloo next weekend.
