How did they look in person? We couldn't make it to the game last night. Did they auction them off after the game? What price range were they fetching?

I thought they were sorta neat. There are some nice Jeff Tuttle photos on www.kansas.com under Sports. Look for "Gallery: Wichita State vs Nebraska"

they were auctoined off via silent auction into the 7th inning. I checked mid-7th and some were down in the 140-160 range and some were mid- to high-200's.

Seems like several went to parents, which I wanted to bid on Cooper's, but his folks were the last on the list and I didn't want to out-bid them.

Most of them went to parents and most were about $150 and they looked pretty good for what they were.

It looked like a lot of heads moving around on white pants with nothing in between. If we went full camo the players could steal bases at will. :D

That's what I was thinking while watching on TV. No wonder Nebraska's pitchers kept plunking us--THEY COULDN'T SEE US!!!

I think this was a great idea and I'd like to see it done one time each season in all of our sports. Nothing makes me feel better than honoring the men and women who serve our great country.

A few years ago I was at QT off Harry and Rock and I was standing behind a gentleman wearing his AF Camo. I have no idea what his rank is because I really don't know anything about the military but he had a pretty decent stack of stuff on him.

Anyways as he turned around to leave he almost bumped into me but I moved aside real quick and said "Oh S man, I never even saw you there! You just blended in."

He gave me an evil eye that still haunts me to this day. I just stood there with this big S eating grin though.

I agree, but for Baseball let's shoot for a little later in the year when the weather is more likely to be favorable.

camo unis are typically ugly as all hell.

Ours on the other hand looke pretty good.

I think maybe its because they decided to go with just the tops where most teams over due with pants and hat.

You are lucky that he did not reach down your throat and yank out your liver.
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!

... or you were damn lucky that he wasn't a Green Beret... he would have used his hands as a knife and yanked out your heart.

He was Air Force. He didn't want to get his pretty hands dirty.
