No one was bitching about the win. The bitching occurred during the course of the game, which was, in fact, ugly.

You must not have minded it at the time because you chose only to respond to it AFTER the final outcome. That's funny how those things work out.

Top 50? At 16-11? I dunno about this year buddy.
Top 50 RPI. I agree but how many times do people come on after a loss and do the same thing. No doubt this is a down year for the Shox, but the gloom and doom gets old when we all knew this was going to be the case since last June.

Nice win over the Hussies. Its just beautiful to watch JC and know that we'll have him for two more after this. What a stud.

Interesting that you only show up after we finally get more than a 1 run lead for the first time in 8 innings.

            Talk about fair-weathered..

            It's not over yet.
I had plenty of posts I started earlier, but they all looked like I was irritated or ridiculing all the negative posters who were repeating the same thing over and over.

It's pretty tough to come up with anything worth posting when the entire conversation has been taken over by a couple of posters exchanging thoughts and comparing notes on just how really bad the team is this year.

It's a down year. Probably the worst year Gene will have here. It's kind of sad to see posters who seem to enjoy that because their eternal negativism is finally being met.

It's kind of like someone saying, "I knew all along all this success couldn't continue. I've been saying that all along and look - here it is - the success isn't there, just like I've been telling you it would happen for the last 30 years."
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Ok, here is some doom and gloom, this game was gift-wrapped for us, they helped us with unforced errors at every turn, we scored 9 runs but the majority were gift-wrapped. that being said Jordan did what he had to to win this game for us.

Agreed. The doom and gloom sucks but it's a reality. What are we supposed to talk about? Are we just supposed to ignore all the gloomy days and just go crazy during the sunny days? That's the fair weather forecast buddy. I think it's a weak way to do things. You can go that route and that's fine. I respect that. But respect other people's 'outlooks' too.

It's a win so it's a good thing for ALL of us.

Be happy and let's get some good practice in tomorrow and get our brooms out for the weekend.

I've noticed something quite ... funny:
Awhile ago, when Taylor Brown was red hot, Paul Suellentrop wrote an article praising him. He has been hitless since then.
Earlier today, Paul wrote something about McKeever doing poorly at the plate. He is the MVP in this game.

No doubt William but how many times do we gift wrap games for others. We we do it we just suck and when other teams do it for us we just suck and got lucky. It is still a team tied for 4th place in the Big 12 with Texas. I guess it's good to know we aren't the only team having a down year.

A big part of shocker success historically is due to the fact that "we we" rarely make unforced errors and give teams much of anything, there how is that for positive.

LOL that is very good. I totally agree with you. I think this year we will have to take every win we can get!

By the way, this is the first time for me seeing Cooper. If there is a better pitcher than him in the valley, I wanna see him. This may be obvious, maybe not, but Jordan is gonna go down as one of the best pitchers in shocker history before he is done, book it!
