    Shocks vs Bradley in Peoria

    Shocks vs Bradley. Shocks open up MVC play this weekend in Peoria.

    Good thing were on the road, because doesn't sound like we would get any games in if we were at home this weekend.

    Weather for Peoria is a little iffy, especialy on Saturday, but hopefully we can get all 3 games in. May be playing two on Sunday.

    Hopefully, Bradley has the filed covered Friday AM.

    Looks like they might consider playing two games Friday.

    Bradley got dumped 3 times last weekend by MSU. They are undoubtedly among the dregs of the conference and the Shox really need to win all games played and hope for 3. The way MVC scheduling works, cancelled games vs. teams you should beat can really cost you in the end.

    ERA of the projected Bradley starters is 6.75, 7.50, and 10.53. The three WSU starters are all 3.56 or better.

    Friendly reminder: Friday game time is 4:00pm.

      I would like for the Shox to try and play 2 games today. This will probably be the best day.

      Fri: 46 degrees (winds 11-15 mph)
      Sat: 41 degrees 80% rain, 60% snow in evening
      Sun: 41 degrees (and windy gust to 30 mph)

      Depending how bad saturday gets may effect whether they can play even 1 game on Sunday.

      With the 3 game conference schedule, WSU needs to get all 3 games in and anything less than a sweep would be problematic since SWMO has already swept them.

      Bradley is hitting 0.246 as a team. Their Team ERA is 7.20. Their fielding pct is 0.955. Opponents have stolen 26 bases in 32 attempts.

      All points to that WSU should be able to take care of business. ISR probabilities do point to that sweep is not a sure thing.

      37% chance for a Sweep
      44% chance for taking 2 of 3 games
      17% chance for taking only 1 of 3 games
      2% chance of being swept
