Isn't this pretty much what you've done everytime the Shockers lose - or even get behind in a game- for most of the last several years ? I do agree with what you say about there being a lot of season left.

I like our young team a lot.
Of course that's whay he does all the time.

We take 2 of 3 from two good teams, LBSU and Pepperdine and K-State loses 29-5?

We'll see when the other games are played head to head.

ABC, even you know that Long Beach (like us this year) are way down. You are making the mistake by reading the name on their jersey and not what they are producing on the field this year. They are not very good right now. Yes, I'm glad we took the series from them this year, but quite frankly, I'm glad we caught them in their rebuilding mode instead of the normal Long Beach teams we have grown so used to.

Also, don't give me that crap about KSU losing 29-5 in one game that they suck at baseball. I remember back in '99 or '00, KSU came to our place and put a butt whoopin on us like 18-3. It was embarassing, but we still made the regional that season and won over 40 games. One game doesn't reflect how a team performs or how good they are.

Moose showed us all the numbers and they don't lie. Deal with it. He's right, it may turn out that both KU and KSU are better than us in baseball this year, just like we were better than them in b-ball in '06. Next year, I expect us to dominate all over again.

Ridenhour will be a weekend starter for KU so we won't have to deal with him anymore next season so we should sweep. :D

Brad Hill is doing good things in manhattan, will their success carry through the big 12 schedule? We will have to see... it wouldn't be the first time they started hot and fizzeled under the onslaught of conference play. As for KU, they are a sham, see if I'm wrong in the end... I doubt it!

          KCShox,

Please. KSU has never ever made a NCAA tournament.

KU has made one or two.

Yes we sure have! The last one back in 2006. We also had one of the most pathetic CWS appearances ever in 1993, but hey, it counts. You guys were in that one, too. You did much better.

We've done better out of the gate this season than I though we would, considering our schedule, but we've never finished the conference slate over .500 since the the Big XII was formed. This could be our year, baby!

I thought you guys one the Big 12 two years back. Was that the Big 12 tourney? If so, you weren't over .500 that season?

We won the tourney after going 13-14 in the regular conference season.
