We all agree ... WSU hasn't won a CWS title since 1989, but the Shox have made a run at something other than mediocrity more often than the vast majority of other programs. This season is tough and will continue to be tough. Have you been out to watch the Shox yet? Kelley, Lowell, Cooper, Grimes, O'Brien, etc. look like a damn good start at getting right back at where everyone wants the Shox to be - in regionals, super-regionals, and maybe the CWS.
One last thing, you can't deny the dedication of Gene, Brent, and JT to WSU. To do what those guys have done collectively over the last 20 plus years and 31 for Gene at 'lil old WSU is nothing short of amazing. Sure, they thought the pastures were greener in a power conference, but their dedication to WSU brought the right back here. While you're doing research, bring us back a list of programs that have won 40 or more games for 30 seasons. Heck, I'll go easy on you and let you do half that ... 15 years of 40 or more wins. Short list, isn't it?
