I was thinking the same thing today while listning to the game.Grimes/Brown up the middle would help the D and Baez could still keep his bat in the lineup.O'Brien is the future behind the plate and Cody has struggled to handle the pitching staff.

My only ? or hope is Josh is ready to play 3rd because we need his bat in the line up.

evidently you guys never caught a pitching staff before. You can only do so much if they cant make quality pitches to stay aheaed of batters to make them hit a pitch out of the STRIKE ZONE. Our pitching staff ROUTINELY falls behind in the count so whats any catcher going to do try, to call pitches to get even or ahead in the count to be sucessfull to get outs. Look at sucess we had in years past pitchers could usually throw Three pitches for strikes, now we are lucky to get fastballs over, when we did against quality hitters they capitalize on our inability to make quality pitches. it is not high school anymore!!!!!!!!
