    Synopsis

TCU fans have voted the WSU as their most looked for series of the year

    WSU 62%
    SD State 18%
    BYU 8%
    NM 4%
    Minnesota 4%

So I think it's safe to say that TCU will be up for this series.

What can be really said about this series - doesn't look like much hope for a Shocker team. Playing a veteran team who beating Top 10 and Top 20 competition while WSU has struggle with Top 200 competition.

This will be a good test to see where WSU is at (consider it a test super regional matchup). WSU hitters are going to have to be better than they have and we have to hope that the young pitching staff matures quickly.

8 of 9 TCU hitters batting over .333 against that competition? While 4 of our 9 are hitting .250 or less. Not good. It is asking too much for our pitching to keep us in these games against TCU, our hitters better figure things out quickly.

One of the players in the Eagle article says this team can hit, well it's time to put up or shut up.

Their bats went silent against Baylor in a 2-1 loss.Maybe there is some hope.

If WSU young pitching staff rises to the occasion and pitch to their potential anything is possible.

                    Pitchers

It's all about the pitching. Kelley, Lowell with his zero ERA, and Cooper have all shown themselves capable of pitching very well. They'll probably need to, but if they do step up, anything is possible.

A sweep either way isn't a "realist" either. Somebody that is a realist and looks at the law of averages and know that some sort of split is much more likely - that would be a realist.

I'm going to say the shox take 2 of 3. I believe!!! I would be careful underestimating Gene, Brent, and the boys.

Anything is possible.... One thing i know about baseball is the best team doesn't always win. All it takes is a dink here a dink there maybe a ground ball with eyes or 2. We got a shot. We have just as many kids on scholarship as they do. They may have older ones but just as many.

Put me down for a 1-2 weekend (and I'm leaning toward 0-3).

The veterans need to come up huge on offense and the pups need to pitch great. TCU will be ready for some big payback after the Shox went 4-0 against them last season.

1-2 or 2-1 would be good steps in the process against a pretty good Top-15 team.
