I have already eaten my crow. The worse thing is there is nothing to optimistic about as this team is actually getting worse.

Obviously, this team is not as talented as they have been touted to be.

I'm not gonna totally disqualify the 'talent' argument yet until this group has a year to mesh.

The quicker this year goes by, the better.
        Deuces Valley.
        ... No really, deuces.

          season

Is Tabor the next win for us?

Tough for a young team to stop a losing skid.

The biggest problem with the "we got loads of talent" arguement is that one would expect that although we are young, 37 games into the season you would expect to see slow but gradual improvement. Unfortunately, this team is actually playing and getting worse.

The way this team is playing right now, it wouldn't surprise me if they lost to Tabor.

Still looking good. I said we would be 18-22 at this point in the season, we are 20-20 right now. But, 18-20 against D1 competition. Didn't someone bet me some money?

If WSU wins only 27 games this year -- no asterisks, no discounting replacements like the two non-Div 1 games instead of the two probable victories lost to weather at Bradley, no ignoring Valley tournament results -- just 27 games, period
Looks like the spin is out already.

The only time division 1 games don't count is in figuring rpi and even then they do count if you play more than 4 non-division games (but in a negative way). And I don't think rpi is something we are worrying about this year.
