I consider that Gene's personal business. I'm sure any change in status (and I am unaware of any) is a matter of public record but I just don't care. Anyone who has served WSU well for 30+ years and has had the kind of success that Gene has receives my respect. (Now if he robs a bank, ... it better be for another improvement to Eck Stadium. ;-) :D )

Reasonable question. If it was part of his bio before and it's not now, then he made it public business. Do I care personally? No. But I didn't care before. My only point is that you can't have it one way when things are good and another when things are bad.

Lynn Marshall gets brought up as an asset all the time as does Gregg's son. If they're assets now, then they're liabilities if they ever leave. If it's not our business then, then it's not something to be leveraged now.

I know there are some Smart***** on here who think they're funny, but my question was of interest being that my sister went to school with his kids.

Secondly, I read the new bio's of the coaches each year and noticed for the first time his wife Paula was not mentioned. Just a curious question.

Is it my business, No! It doesn't matter either way because I still respect Coach Stephenson no matter what.

So, with that being said, that is why I asked the question. They're a nice family and I would hope that they would still be together.
