  • Oregon's uniforms...

The pinstripes on the gray pants are actually words...the Oregon fight song.

Please tell me the "big O" is a practice jersey. That thing is hideous.

Reminds me of the Scarlett Letter. What did that guy do that was so horrible that he has to wear a huge "O" on his shirt?

      I laughed.

It will be interesting to see how that program develops. If Oregon State can do it, you have to think Oregon can.

          Ugh...

Where's the neon yellow/chartreuse option, and the simulated aluminum diamond tread plate? If they want to be the "Fightin' Highlighters" in baseball, as they are in football, then those unis fall short of the standard. However, I guess the silly, text-as-striping option helps keep them firmly planted in the land of ridiculousness.

Anyways, if that's what heavy Nike sponsorship looks like, I think I'll stay on this side of the fence.

I'm all for the "Big O". Everyone likes a story with a happy ending. ;)

Oregon has a lot of things going for it. Pac 10 Conference. California recruits. Phil Knight. Great coach, and a strong motivation to catch up to the Beavs. And last but not least, a fabulous new baseball park currently under construction.

Must be nice to be able to have such a great backing from Nike to get so many different uniforms and amazing sporting complexes.

Oregon should be a contender in short order, money for a good coach, a well funded program, good conference affilliation, and proximity to talent, it's pretty much a lock.

I wonder how well Oregon or Oregon State will do now that both are splitting talent. Oregon State has succeeded the last few years with kids from the state of Oregon. Are there enough to supply two teams?

No need to snag only Oregon talent when you got a Cal St Fullerton guy with plenty of connections to California and the ungodly amounts of talent there. Oregon will be very competitive very soon. They are clearly on the fast track.
