I wasn't there but caught some clips on the news. Baez bare-handed a bouncer up the middle and threw out the runner at first.

Man I love that kid. At this point, plays like that don't surprise me the slightest. Its just another play for that kid. I really wish I could have made it. What channel did you see the highlights on?

brian flynn looked very good, 5 innings, 5 so, 3 hits, and no earned runs. has some serious heat and good change and breaking ball.

letourneau was 4 for 5. hit the ball solid

mckeever was not at his best as the closer even though he got the win, gave up 3 earned runs in his one inning pitched with 3 hits and 1 bb.

as stated by almost all posters will baez really looks good in the field and at the plate.

remington johnson hit a towering home run over the left field fence.

cooper and another player ( i failed to get his number) went behind the gold dugout and dumped a fairly full cooler of water on the gold team, from behind and above their dugout. Several players got soaked but ryan jones got it worst. he was very wet and not very happy. :lol: :lol:
