The last Division 1 football prospect was only here 2 years and signed a $700,000 pro contract. I hope T J stays 3 years and gets more than that.First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.Comment

TJ is a good kid and one heck of an athlete. Kid has a canon for right arm. He's in Hesston this Friday playing football. If you get the chance I highly recommend getting a look at him...he's about the size of your average high school offensive lineman, but with the speed of your smaller skill players. Before taking over fulltime snap duties at Hayden a couple of years ago he was a starting cornerback. I feel sorry for any defensive back once he gets into the secondary...he dishes out the hit rather than taking it. He also was a starter on last years state championship basketball team.
His dad was a real good athlete too. Played college football at Washburn and was a starter on the undefeated state championship Hayden basketball team that featured Tom Meier and Mark Turgeon.
I can't wait to see him play his first game in his Shocker uniform.Comment
