I read a couple of days ago that Mark Shapiro is interested in re-signing Blake to the Indians in the off season.

Another conflicting night for me. On one hand I was very happy to see Casey get that big hit last night, but being a Phillies fan I'm getting sick of former Shockers hitting homeruns off of them in the playoffs! :) At least the Phils pulled out the win last night. One more win and on to the world series baby!!!

I would certainly hope that Gene is in these guys' ears to "negotiate" in their contract an additional 1% or 2.5% for WSU. The agent could take the contract offered and say, "Add 2.5% and it's a done deal". That would cost only $510,000.
