I'm not sure what they did that was deserving of additional punishment. Their meltdown did make me feel a little better about not blowing that lead though.

They were pretty mad at the time I am sure that they said some choice words that they now regret.

I've seen a lot of coaches say a lot of "choice" words and get thrown out of games, but have never seen the NCAA punish a team in this way.

IIRC, a assistant coach was ejcted earlier in the game, then there was a bean ball, then there was almost a physical altercation between a player and a umpire after the ejections. It seems that the OSU coaches lost control of their team, but I could be misremembering.
