    SHOCKER WORLD SERIES ROSTERS

    Teams Announced for Fall World Series

    WICHITA, Kan. – The rosters for the 2008 Shocker Fall World Series have been decided. The Black squad will be led by 17th-year assistant coach Jim Thomas, while the Gold squad will be led by third-year volunteer assistant Jerod Goodale.

    The series gets underway on Wed., Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. Admission to each game is a can of food for the Kansas Food Bank.

        Zach Gillis --- outfielder. Played at Western Nebraska CC last year. And ... that's all I got.

        I think EVERYBODY -- up to and including the coaches -- will need a program.

        But it's gonna be fun Wed. night.

            Tim Kelley will start for the Gold squad tonight against Freshman Jordan Cooper for the Black.

            Logan Hoch, Grant Muncrief and Cameron Maldonaldo will not be available to pitch in the series.
