Mets are behind 3-0 and are \coming to bat in the bottom of the 7th. Mike has given up 2 earned runs, 4 hits, 2 BB and 4 K's while throwing 113 pitches.

Interesting read. You always hate to see young guys getting hurt. Hopefully Pelfrey won't be a victim of this. But as the article states, they have no choice but to pitch him. You can't worry about resting him when you're in a division title chase. If they make the playoffs that would bring even more work, but I think as Shockers fans, we'd love to see Pelfrey pitching in the playoffs.Comment
