Just thinking out loud. I like the idea of making this an annual thing. If that is our objective, I believe we should perhaps strongly consider only the 2008 guys. While there are others on the list that I'd like to sponsor as well, if it an annual deal, then I think it should be sequential. If some year has nobody, then use that year to pick up a prior entry.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

How much would the net naming rights cost?

What was the donation level required to be able to sponsor an AA? $2,500?

Wow, that list is much more impressive than I was expecting.

It is going to be very tough to get a consensus on this one.

I would put the following 6 guys on a poll and let the best man win:

          Don Heinkel
          Mark Standiford
          Travis Wycoff
          Kennie Steenstra
          Rob Musgrave
          Conor Gillaspie

I'm not that concerned about limiting votes to just those that contributed. After all the donation is being made on behalf of ShockerNet. Besides I could live with sponsoring just about any player on that list.

Not exactly sure who I would vote for. This is going to take some soul searching for sure.

I've cast mine but was curious how many have or have not. I know many had to think long and hard based off of the names. Just curious and not trying to rush anything.

Last call for votes. I want to make the pick on Monday.

I received two or three more votes since the previous post, but I know more of you donated.

Yes. Rob Musgrave won by a large margin.

I really, really wanted to vote for Kennie or Russ Morman......but I am happy to recognize Rob......he personifies what I imagine most of us would like to see in our own children and what's best from Shocker athletics.

damn, I missed out on this. My vote would have been for billy hall though as I loved watching him play. Rob is certainly worthy though. i love the idea of sponsoring an AA every year for sure.
