  • Rob is tearing it up!

I know you have a sticky for everybodys links but thought I would highlight what rob is doing so far. He has made the transition nicely.

Musgrave is 3-1 with a 2.33 ERA. Better yet he has a 9/1 strikeout to walk ratio. 27K's in 19.1 innings!!! I know the dude only gets up to 87-88 max but he can pitch. Opponents hitting a mere .188 against him.

I've learned my lesson about getting too excited by someone pitching that way in A ball with Rowdy Hardy. But those are good numbers and a great start. Lets just hope he keeps up the dominance as he move up through the system.

Rob has got a wicked change up. Two guys in the MLB who don't throw hard but have awesome change ups are Trevor Hoffman and Jamie Moyer. Hopefully Rob can emulate their success and get up to the show quickly.

Well, that plus pinpoint control and an incredible knowledge of hitters' strengths and weaknesses.

Listening to Charlie O'Brien talk about catching Maddux leads me to believe that he can put the ball exactly where he wants it in the strike zone and he knows where the hole is in every hitter's swing.
