We came damn close to observing two consecutive wins by Shocker pitching alums in the same ballpark on consecutive nights.

Pelfrey beat the Cards on 7-3 in Busch Stadium, and if Looper had any run support tonight, the Cards could have turned around and beaten the Cubs.

I wonder how many times something like this has happened in the past......
