look at the batting average of the 3b's on the first second and third team whoever is on the commitee that decides who makes these teams should be fired

Well they all had at least 10 more home runs than Conor. It's probably the 11 HRs from a corner infielder that is hurting him a little.

I have not looked at the field % for the others but I would assume that is something that may be hurting him also.Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!

I too think Conor's lack of power as a 3rd baseman and his fielding probably hurt him. It would appear that the three that made All-American and Conor were all very comparable overall. I also think Capra was lucky to make the team. Compared to the other starting pitchers, he was low in innings pitched per game (discounting the relief appearance), high in ERA, and high in walks per innings pitched. I would have gone with Shafer before Capra.
