I tried going back and getting a link to one of the eagle stories on it but the link is dead and to old to pull anymore. I know several of you have been asking about incoming guys and wanting more info now that we know where they all went in the draft. So after looking at the current signees, how many besides Cooper got drafted? 1 or 2 maybe? Plus looks like these guys might be good hitters. We really could use some power in the lineup next year too.

Several were drafted, but not that high. Both Goddard boys were and I'm pretty sure they will be coming to WSU.

Is Cooper the only one that most are afraid might sign?

I guess you never know, but I don't see why any of them would sign, so I'm not afraid at all.

I suppose Cooper could pitch like the next Jonathan Papelbon this summer and convince the Red Sox to throw big money his way, but he's already said 4th round money isn't enough. If Boston thought he could possibly impress them enough to spend more than that, they probably wouldn't have waited until the 17th round to pick him. You don't give other teams 400 extra shots at drafting someone you really like.
