    A big freaking also:

I will never, ever forget going to / watching every game Andy Dirks played this year waiting for him to get on base / get a hit. I was made aware of his streak about two weeks before the Nebraska game. That Nebraska game was horrible, but I was so nervous when he got up to the plate late and was so happy when he at least got the HBP.

Then watching him go on a 30 game rip... I won't forget that.

I'm glad that I got to see the vast majority of his games for that streak. I will never forget that part of the fun this season.

Ill never forget Keeve's bomb in Stillwater as long as I live.also another game that comes to mind was Harvard early in the freezing weather.Up 5-0 Matt Smith and Womack proceded to give up 10 straight hits and the shox all of a sudden were down 10-5.With a furious rally in the ninth they tied it at 10 to send it to extras.I still have a pic on my phone of KWJ scoring the winning run on a wild pitch in the extra frame.there couldn't have been 200 people witness the winning run but it was a game where I knew this team would never give up and was something special.

I'm sad it is over. But I saw a lot of great things Coleman hit for the cycle. Clints grand slam. Valley titles. Regional title. And much more. Can't wait till next year. Now getting ready for VOLLEYBALL.
First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.

GREAT SEASON! I don't think anyone can say they expected this team to get this far. Especially 3 or 4 weeks ago. I hope we focus our recruiting a little more on the hitting side but other than that, Shocker baseball is ALIVE AND WELL!!!

I second all of the reasons mentioned here and I, too, froze my keester at several games, even in early May! Why, oh why does a person have the urge to go to the bathroom so often in cold weather ( Not a happy camper when I have to take off three layers of clothes to do ANYTHING) and why can't the heated bathroom at Eck be the one with the broadcast of the game playing on the speakers? lol. Oh, well, now I have a headset.
There was just something about this team, something magical. So many comeback wins, ESPN-worthy defensive plays and a mentality that said, "we don't quit." I hope they save more of that magic for later in the season next time. We "runned" out.
