FSU Attendance

KC watched it. I know it.

I went to the zoo around 11 and got back around 1pm. My 20-month old does not have the stamina to go any longer. Her daily nap time is around 12:30 to 2:30. As I mentioned before, my lovely friend Chris text messaged me with the score when AS apparently gave up his 8th run of the day. I knew the game was over and me not watching it wasn't going to save the Shox so I turned the game on.

I watched the game on and off the remainder of the day as well as the Royals which was a pretty good game. When A-rod hit that bomb to make it 10 to 8 I knew the Royals would lose that one as well.

Now I've discussed with my wife what the hell happened and she advised me she did not wear her yellow shocker shirt today at the garage sale. She promises to wear it tomorrow, I'll put something yellow and black on my daughter and I will not watch, listen or answer any text messages updating me of the game. I will also continue to believe FSU will win tomorrow.

This will reverse the hex, I know it will. Lastly, Cappy has been informed of some guy on Shockernet named KC Shox who has been ridiculing his performance since mid-season and wants to prove me wrong. I believe he will get nasty tomorrow.

Nasty could mean a lot of things. It could mean he was dominate or it could mean he was literally nasty. Either way, my prediction of his performance will be right. :D

ESPN said it started in like 1988 when Calgary was hosting the Olympics. Evidently somebody started singing the O'Canada when they were behind in the 5th inning (and of course they rallied to win the game).

That's pretty much it. Most start off as stupid stuff that we come up with while bored and if something good happens on the field while we're doing it in the stands, its sticks - similar to the crazy superstitions teams do in the dugout.

If anything else, they keep the rest of the crowd in the game and the stadium loud.
