I don't know Dirks personally, but he has exceeded my expectations for ANY participant in ANY sport. We are all human, subject to so many outside influences. I hope he feels only the sweet release of pressure and, instead, feels only the pure joy and fun of the game. You can't buy it, you can't manufacture it...it just IS.
P.S. Give credit to Posey....he's human too. How fair is it to carry the weight of the whole team on one person's shoulders? It should never come down to that. Baseball IS a team sport, last time I checked.
