      I seen Jordan pitch in Newton last week and the Rebels knocked him out in the 4th inning

        I haven't followed the discussion too closely but what would be wrong with, if someone was really and TRULY interested in the kids that played the game.......


        Have MLB fully fund NCAA baseball to 30-35 scholarships, furnish the equipment they want the kids to use (ie wood bats) and then leave the kids alone for at least 3 years (like football) THEN severly punish schools that do not graduate kids in the program with immediate loss of scholarships and suspension of post season tourneys. Run a clean program and graduate kids or you don't get to play.

          That's just my .02.
          I think you would still have the issue that college coaches are paid by the colleges and hired and fired based on success of the team. Anytime you have that formula in play you will have coaches willing to abuse pitchers.
