This is probably a bad description, but basically:
A ball was hit up the middle, their 2nd baseman fielded it, and tossed it while sort of twisted to the shortstop, who couldn't catch it while staying on the bag. Jones slid right into the guy's shin and they collided, not a pretty sight. It was a clean slide.Comment

High throw from second baseman to the ss, he leapt to catch it, came down on his left foot, just as Jones was sliding into his foot/ankle. It looks painful on the replays.
He is not coming back, he is done for the regional, unless he has a Paul Pierce type return.Comment

CG shot up the middle, flip to delmonico that was high and bounced off the top of his glove, but he stepped right in the base path as RJ was coming in and they went shin to shin. RJ was down on the slide and ok, and delmonico went down face first, probably rolled his ankle.Originally posted by ABCComment
