Well there is some pretty bad weather that may be hitting us in a few minutes. So, if for some reason you live in south / east wichita (haysville, derby, east wichita) please get to shelter.

This should have been much worse, but the storms lined up quickly, making it an above average damaging wind threat. I saw a report of 70 mph winds in my hometown of Douglass.

In all fairness, around 6pm there was a nasty radar signature with some big big rotation. Luckily it got warm enough today that it never really got going.
