  • Wingnuts trade Schermerhorn

Looks like they're down to 1 former Shocker now.

At least they got more than 10 bats for him.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Good point. I really feel sorry for that guy that was traded for bats last week. That's gotta make you feel really good about your baseball abilities.

Looks the Wingnuts are going to have to cut some more radio commercials. I heard one on KGSO tonight touting him as being on the team.

I haven't had a chance to get out there yet and now I have a little lest interest.

Oh well, come summer time I'll be there. Who am I kidding?

This seems like a dumb move. I hope they find a way to add another former Shocker or two. :wsu_posters:

In that guys defense he never even made it into Canada to play for the team because of a little immigration problem. But he's not that good anyway.

I've had little to no interest in the Wingnuts. By getting rid of a former Shocker and probably the biggest name on the team here, I have exactly no interest and I'm sure it killed a lot of peoples desire to head out there to watch below average baseball.

My money would be on the Shockers to win. I think there are more pro prospects wearing the black and gold.

As long as we have a baseball team in the summer, I'll be there. Although I do admit, you might see better baseball watching the El Dorado Broncos or Derby Twins play.

                      Again, probably more pro prospects.

That's true. Both those teams are better entertainment than the Wingnuts. I could watch them 20 times during the summer and never get tired of it (and I used to for many summers during my college years).

the shockers are and will always be the #1 team in town...most of the excitement in bringing in the wingnuts was the possibility of having shockers on the roster. they had probably better get another shocker on the roster, or their fate could be similar to the wranglers
