For those Shocker fans wishing to go to Omaha should we prevail this weekend, hotel rooms are quickly dwindling. Most on expedia, orbitz, and travelocity which show to be available on a search are actually not when you try to book it, especially if it is non smoking, two queen beds, or both. Even many of the smoking, kings are no longer available and the ones which can be had are becoming more expensive by the minute.
I just booked a room at Best Western Seville Plaza (two doubles, non smoking) for June 13-15 (opening weekend and game 1 for all teams) for a mere $116/night directly off the best western website. It is fully cancellable if done before June 13th (a key component).
Basically, I am saying that it may be wiser to book a room which allows penalty free cancellations now rather than waiting til next week and having to stay eighty miles away from the city.
Disclaimer: this is a jinx free post, due to the stress on hotels that allow cancellations.
