How is Dirks, or even more deserving, McKeever, not MOP?

Only 4 shockers on all regional team and 5 cowboys? Didn't we win? And I think Conor is a great player but his numbers for the tournament are not quit as good as Clint's.

yea i know, when they were annoucing the players for the all tourney team, all the shocker fans in the stands had a WTF look on their face. O well we will take a regional championship anyday

All-regional team --Luis Flores, c, OSU; Matt Vern, 1b, TCU; Thomas Belza, 2b, OSU: Jordy Mercer, ss, OSU; Conor Gillaspie, 3b, WSU; Andy Dirks, of, WSU; Chad Gregar, of, WKU; Neil Medchill, of, OSU; Clinton McKeever, dh, WSU; Aaron Shafer, p, WSU; Tyler Lyons, p, OSU.

Gillaspie was selected as the regional's most outstanding player.

Rob Musgrave put us in the position to win by setting the tone. He should be recognized. Tyler Weber is a man. He certainly comes through in the clutch.

Tyler Hill had a solid regional.

And I wouldn't trade Jones, Coleman, Hall, Workman, and KWJ for anybody.

Logan Hoch sealed the deal.

The less players on the team that get the recognition that they should, the better off they are. When they feel snubbed or slighted, they play better.


So I ask that people keep slighting these guys for awards until games are done in Omaha. Then they can hand out all the awards that they would like to.

As far as I'm concerned, Jordy Mercer can sit at home and enjoy all 5 of his regional HR's.

BTW, how do you pronounce that catcher's name for OSU? Is it pronounced "LOSER"?

I <3 C.G. and I am glad he got the MoP. However, with his errors yesterday and this numbers in comparison to Dirks and McKeever, I am surprised he got it over those guys.

But I doubt they really care. The awards they want are in Omaha.
