Did FSU really throw their 3rd or 4th best pitcher? There are two guys on there roster with close to 90 IP and this Parker kid is a freshman with about 50 inning.

And from what I saw on a FSU board, apparently he hadn't pitched recently either.

To be fair, when you are shut out, it probably doesn't matter a whole lot who you throw.

But the message sent to the players is: "we should win easily" and there could be a mental let down. Perhaps FSU will comeback and win their regional, but NEVER underestimate your opponent.

Root for Florida against FSU tommorow. If any team other than FSU wins the tallahasee regional that would mean WSU would host a super if they were to win their regional.
