The volume of responses to a 10-0 win vs. a 12-0 loss gives some insight into the ShockerNet phyche. The buzzards have been circling over the program, but when the prey shows some sign of life, they look for another victim. You're right, a good game all-around and something to build on - let's just hope they can do so.

The Shox have been horribly inconsistent over the last month on offense. They have scored 5 or more runs in 16 of their last 24 games and scored in double-digits in 9 of those games while averaging 11.9 hits. In the remaining 8 games they have scored 3 runs or less with 3 shutouts and averaged 5.8 hits. 7 of 8 were losses. Definitely a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on.

The team that can field, run, and hit seems to exist, they just haven't been showing up for every game. Perhaps with school and finals ending and a stretch of 7 or 8 games at home they can focus on baseball and finish strong.
