Check back at 6 when we have 6 pages of conflicting weather reports from every single meteorologist that frequents the baseball forum. Honestly its freaking kansas and trying to predict the weather is pretty fruitless I'd just keep an eye on goshockers.com or listen to the 1410 or 1330 for an announcement if one is to be made before 6:40 by kennedy during the pregame show.

at 32nd and rock as of 2:36 its very bright outside. However the sky is cloudy and there is a very light drizzle. I wouldnt even call it a drizzle but yeah.

If you can recall the Northern Colorado doubleheader last year I would say the weather as of first pitch that day was worse than what it is right now.

With as many tickets as they have sold, they should do everything possible to play this game. This late in the year it's hard to find a makeup date. Both teams are not playing their best right now so this will be a very interesting game.

Doesn't look good with yet another band of rain working it's way into town over the next couple hours.

Radar looks horrible! we sure need to play this game. i'd hate to see this opportunity -- opponent + crowd -- go down the drain, so to speak.

Would it be better to lose 19-1 in front of a rain-soaked angry mob or not play at all?

We're not even close to that bad, K-State beat them last night. If we play well we can defianetly win tonight's game.

We can't even beat Central Arkansas! How do you expect us to beat Arizona State! The way ASU hits the ball, and the way we (don't) hit the ball, I'd be surprised if we only lose by 5 or less.

                          Because it's baseball?

Because in this sport, on any given night, anything can happen?

I'm not expecting a win either, but it doesn't mean the Royals can't beat the Angels.

The Royals could never beat a team like the Angels. They have a HUGE payroll compared to KC. They have T. Hunter!! They are from LA, like a gazillion times larger than Wichita. Plus, they have Angels that help them in the outfield.

Geez Royal...take off those yellow glasses!!

The Royals beating the Angels would be a lot more likely than WSU beating ASU, but you are right, anything can happen. Hopefully we can catch them on another bad night
