Central Arkansas versus injury riddled Shox

I left the game after 7. Horrible effort. We are such a poor hitting team at times. I know it's been debated 100 times, but our mid-week pitching is not very good. I felt bad for Womack because they just ate him alive. It would be nice if our right-handed hitters could actually drive the ball like the UCA hitters were doing... 5 homers...wow! We are toast.

UCA not only hit 5 homers, but drove at least 4 to the track and another one just foul over the left field fence. I've said for some time now that are lack of recruiting an offense (the easier part of the puzzle) will someday start affecting our ability to recruit pitching (the harder part). That day is now here!! No middle relief, no closer, and boardline 4th & 5th starters. This trend needs to get turned around in a hurry!

I was so pissed after this one I decided not to post until 15 hours after the end of this one.

What a pathetic performance. What a chokejob.

1.) Why does Womak get a chance to pitch anymore? That guy serves up meatballs left and right. Little leaguers could hit off of him.

2.) Our overall midweek pitching (minus Kelly and Hoch) is horrible. We have no relief.

3.) We had a strong south wind to our backs. Our opponents capitalized off of it hitting 5 bombs. We got a couple pop flies into the outfield. We're so weak.

4.) We actually had the game given to us and we still choke and blow it.
a.) First in the 8th. A couple of strikeouts looking. Pathetic.
b.) Even more pathetic was the 9th. HOW THE #### CAN YOU GET RUNNERS AT 2ND AND 3RD WITH NOOOO OUT AND NOT EVEN GET 1 RUN IN?? ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSING AND PATHETIC. Workman strikes out. Jones little league pop up.. and Coleman a weak ass grounder to 3rd. We couldn't even put the ball on the ground when we needed to.

What a disgusting performance.

I think it's obvious now (Rose and t) that we are way overrated and WE WILL NOT be hosting a regional. Just in case you guys didn't get that before.

At least the rain will prevent us from getting embarrassed again tonight.

The Shox pissed this game away, not KNSS.

I was referring to KNSS playing KFDI and cutting to full-time weather coverage and leaving the ball game in the 8th inning. Even worse is that they suck at it. They should leave the full-time weather to KFDI, who is real good at it and stick to what they do well, Shocker basketball and baseball.
