And you know what, we should beat this team and sweep their ass. I think most of us are giving UNI too much credit. They are 0-3 against the RPI top 100, 12-9 against 101-200 RPI teams and 11-3 against 201-300 RPI teams. They also have a loss against a non-D1 team.

They have a good MVC record because they've played the bottom tier teams thus far. Their ONLY good wins this year have come against Creighton, other than that they have played nobody and beaten nobody. I look for us to come out and destroy them tomorrow and Sunday.

Big thanks to Musgrave for his best pitched game of the year. Shox got the 1st, now they need to get Saturday game.

Great pitching performance by Rob Musgrave and the defense made the plays they had to when it counted. I would have liked to have seen us capitalize a bit more on the free passes and hit batters, but we won and that's all that really counts. :goshocks:

          Nice Win!

I wish I could have seen it. Hopefully I will be in Wichita for Sunday's game. :wsu_posters:

Thankfully I've cooled some since Wednesday. I may never get over that loss.. :-x

As it is, this one definitely helps. I agree that this is a team we should smoke, sweep, smash, pulverize, whatever you wanna call it.

Great pitching effort.. and a nice offense to secure the W.

            Keep it up.

Anyone else concerned about the pitch count? 134 is a lot of work.

Maybe it's OK since Rob isn't a pro prospect.

It is a lot of work but it isn't when looking at the whole package or giving it the "eye test". I doubt Rob follows that up with another one this week.

Ohh......that reminds me...........(heading over to the EO thread)
