  • #1 Miami falls to 13-29 Florida International

Miami (now 33-5) lost tonight to Florida International (13-29).

    SIU beat #9 Missouri 2-1

How many games does Texas have to lose before they drop of the top 25? They lost their 17th tonight.

We had a chance to make up a little ground tonight in the poll war and the regional bid war.

    But no.

    ... No really, deuces.

I'd like to know what it feels like to beat a Top 25 team this year. I'm jealous.

I just choked on my chicken when I read your post about choking on my chicken. Now I have to wipe off my screen of tiny little chicken fragments.

              Me too.

That's pretty sad that both SIU and FIU are ahead of us in that department.

                Top 25

                Jealous? A sad case.

Not me, KC. So long as the Shocks can beat however many ranked teams it takes to win their regional, I don't care whether they beat them now. Sure, I'd rather see WSU win now, too, than lose, which is why I'm pleased to see them take their midweek pitching more seriously (I'd still like to see Capra working on an occasional Wednesday) -- but sometimes these midweek games remind me of the latter part of the NBA season. Hurry up, playoffs.

So is K-State and KU. Oh yeah, Oklahoma lost to Southern Nazarene tonight. We may have a chance to beat them at their place next week, seeing how they are not ranked and all.

I guess you don't care about watching your team play at home in person in postseason play.

Whatever. Different strokes for different folks.

I know it might seem extreme, but we could consider droping baseball since we suck so bad.

Or is it only KCShox that sucks so bad?

Since we will play Kansas St. twice this season, each win they get against other teams will only help our rpi.

Taking a look at that scoreboard it looks as if we really don’t have any bad losses this season…now on the flip side we really don’t have any good wins either.
