I love these Georgia fans. They get hot in basketball at the end, they're legit. The get hot in baseball when conference season rolls around, they're legit. Sorry we don't have the luxury for playing a league full of heavyweights. I hope we get a shot at them somewhere down the road and rollover them.
That being said, he does make a few good points. The best one being we've failed at every single one of our ranked opponents. That is the biggest gripe I have with this team thus far. Hopefully that changes on Wednesday..

I agree with most of what that Georgia fan said. We are 0 fer against the Top 25 who can argue against that? By the way, if TCU continues to stay hot and they enter the rankings next week, I say we still don't count them as a Top 25 victory since they were not ranked when we faced them, what do you think?
Count it. You should go by how they end up the season, not what someone thinks they are at the beginning because at the beginning believe me, nobody has a clue as to who will and won't produce.

You have to count them. Being top 25 after more information is available has to be preferable to being top 25 ten games into the season. On top of that, being top 25 despite being swept by us is more impressive than being top 25 before having played us. The have had to be that much better in their other games to overcome being swept.

So by that logic, would you not count Long Beach State as Top 25 losses since in most polls they're out of the Top 25?

I agree, looking at a team with more information is better than looking at them early in the season...take the Shocker Basketball team 2 years ago for example. New Mexico and USC thought they beat a top 10 teams. At the time we were ranked that, but as it turns out we were barely a top 100 team, if that.
TCU has been playing really well lately, if they continue to win it would really help the resume. Plus we get a crack at OSU and Arizona St. at home. If we can get healthy and win some big midweek games, I think we still have a shot at a national seed.

Most? MOST? They are ranked in the Top 25 in the Baseball America, Ping Baseball, NCBWA, and the Coaches polls. They are not ranked in Collegiate Baseball and Rivals polls. So yes, I still count them as being a Top 25 team we lost to since your arguement fails to qualify in at least half the polls my friend.
TCU is not even ranked in either of the 6 polls named above. So what now?
You boys are gettin' your panties in a wad over nothing here. The comparison made by the rivals poster was with RPI, which doesn't take into account the ups-and-downs of rankings in the various polls.
Compare RPI today, and yes, WSU is 1-4 vs. top 25. In two weeks, WSU might be 4-6 or something as the RPI fluctuates.
