Logan's first D1 hit? He was a good outfielder and hitter at Hutch.

I was wondering the same thing, he was a true freshman last year wasn't he. I didn't think he would be eligible until after his junior year. I''m confused.

From the MLB Draft Q and A:

                      Question:
What are the basic eligibility rules contained in the High School, College or Junior College Rules in Major League Rule 3?

                      Answer:
High School - Generally, only those high school students in the United States or Canada who have exhausted their eligibility to participate in high school athletics are eligible for selection.

College - Generally, a student at a four-year college is eligible after completion of junior year or if the student is at least 21 years old.

Junior College - All junior college students are eligible for selection.

The applicable Major League Rules are more specific than this general answer. Players with specific questions about eligibility should consult a Major League scout or the Commissioner's Office.

                      When is Dusty's DOB? 20 April 1987
Because Denny Crane says so Dammit!

Matt Brown was eligible for the draft following his sophomore year.

That will be quite a hit if it's really true according to Elliot that he's the best college shortstop he has seen.

We could lose our ENTIRE infield, 2/3 of our outfield, and our entire weekend rotation.

The "grizzled veterans" next year could be Cody Lassley, Ryan Jones, and Tim Kelley.

I don't think that anyone on the board really cares if you think it is a bad idea or not.

                                Per Gene..
"We'll give some guys an opportunity to play and pitch that really need an opportunity to get out on that mound and that field," Stephenson said Tuesday before a 3-0 loss at Nebraska. "We're going to see some guys that we need to look at."
If you don't like it, you need to deal with it.

Oh no! You got me! Gene has spoken so my opinion has to be changed! Wrong.
I don't need to deal with anything. The hitters got nothing but frustrated this game and most of the pitchers who did throw didn't do very well. Who benefited from playing this game? Nobody. We left 14+ runners on base against a terrible KCAC school, thats good for some great confidence going into an important 3 games. Plus, 80 people showed up to watch as well. Big turnout for such an "important game" that "needed" to be played.

It was at weather.com whenever I typed that. And it rained during the game some, did it not? I saw multiple people with their umbrellas out during the game, they wouldn't do that while it was dry out, would they? So I'd say it ended up being a 100% chance.

Ok, I'm done talking about this worthless game. I hope our hitters can adjust from seeing 75mph fastballs to seeing 90 over the weekend.
