    In a sense, it'll help balls hook more towards the foul line than actually carry them out?

    Let's hope Kelly is ready for the test tonight. I'm confident he'll put on a good show. The only question marks, based on recent games, will be whether our offense decides to show up and score more than 3 runs and whether our defense is ready to be as stifling as it used to be and not give up stupid errors.

    I'm really excited for this one.

    Again, I'm gonna take this one as a major must-win to prove our credibility, as people have already mentioned.

      Would anyone call this game a "must win" if we want to host a regional? It's kinda looking that way. With our OU game now gone, all we have left is:

      @Nebraska
      @Oklahoma
      @Oklahoma St.
      ASU
      ORU

      If we want to host, my guess would be that we need to take 3 of those, starting with Nebraska and take care of business with the rest of the games on our schedule.

        If we can go 3-2 in those five games our RPI should at least stay in the upper 20's even with the weak MVC schedule down the stretch. Here are the current RPI's for those five non-conference teams. Losing the games at ORU and the home game to OU due to the weather sure isn't helping us out RPI-wise.

        Arizona State- 3
        Oklahoma State- 12
        Nebraska- 13
        Oral Roberts- 22
        Oklahoma- 50

            The lineup is shaken up.

            Kenny Williams up to #2, Bascue as DH.

              9. Sisney

              WSU really needs Coleman to get hot again and Workman back into the linuep.

                Makes sense. It puts a higher average following Conor.

                      Make that 4 hits and row. He can't put anybody away.

                        I know it's real early, but can you say Arkansas last year anyone?

                          I thought of this, but I think the offense will respond in this game, and Kelley will settle down. Well, I hope anyway.

                            This is almost guaranteed to be a very high scoring game. We just need to be patient. Kelley has had more than one rough first inning this year, he has always come back to pitch well.

                                Me too. I'm tired of us underachieving in big games.
