The Shocks with the best Big Tease of the season. In it for 7 innings but apparently not in it to win it. As soon as I saw the shallow fly to left center where DeBacker failed to challenge the go ahead run trying to score from 3rd I shut it down. I figured MSU might get another run or two but probably didn't need them. Was kind of shocked when I saw the final score. The extra runs didn't really change the outcome of the game just added to the embarrassment.

I finally get a chance to sit down this week in and watch the Shocks but Game 3 of the series is not being streamed. Maybe somebody up there does like me after all.

24 earned runs in Games 1 and 2 kind of dented the ol' earned run average.

The 7th inning of Game 3 kind of emblematic of this Shocker team. In the top of the 7th the Shocks loaded the bases with 1 out. Troutwine and Boyer both struck out to end the inning with no runs scoring.

In the bottom of the 7th with runners on 1st and 2nd and 2 outs the Shockers walked a guy hitting .097 on the season to load the bases followed by a seeing eye single up the middle scored to runs to put the Bears up 6-1.
