I find it odd that SMU hasn't looked into bring a baseball program back. You think it would be easy to form a relatively easy/quickly in the DFW area.

Maybe WSU can help its new conference brethren out with this.

Talentwise, it would seem to be easy for SMU to field a team. Unfortunately, due to partial scholarships, you would be essentially asking a young man to pay/find other scholarships to the tune of about $35,000 a year. That can't be easy to do.

I agree. I was only pointing out how I felt it was odd that a wealthy school in the DFW area didn't have baseball. Seems like they would have all the tools to be competitive.
