I would like to be "glass half full", but I believe we are playing a team that is much the same level as us (that's not a compliment). Close scores and at home. Had we been on the road, the outcomes so far may have not been in our favor. There is also Valpo's grueling road schedule of having no home games yet this season.

WSU has fallen far when we are getting excited about winning three 1 run games at home against Valpo. But that is where we are at these days.

I think with what we have seen from the two freshman(Jackson, Katzfey) they can do this. Katzfey with 3 sac bunts this weekend stole some bases and hit the ball. Good to see Jackson find some holes this weekend had 6 hits really hit well. Both of these two have made tremendous plays so far in CF and LF.
