The Shocks take on a Texas Tech (19-4), ranked in the Top 5 in most polls and with a Nolan Power Index of 6 come to town this weekend for a 3-game series.
Not exactly great timing for a Shocker team mired in a team hitting slump to take on a team with a 2.87 team ERA and a .214 opponents batting average.
No mention of the Sacramento State loss in the Eagle but they did have an article today about the Shocks hitting slump.
According to the article Jeff Lutz suggests "the most hopeful path toward improvement may just be to wait."
Seems like he is saying wait until we get past Texas Tech and Okie State and get a shot at the Valley weaklings. Then things will get better.
